This week was our last week of the transfer and we tried to find new people to teach here in our area. A lot of our investigators that we have had for a long time haven´t been progressing at all or coming to church. So we are always in search of new families and people to teach! We are a little concerned that our area is going to get closed! The president told our zone leaders that they would be closing an area in the zone. And this area has been up and down a lot for the past 10 months or so. So, it´s very possible that Elder Salguero and I could both have transfers this week! We will probably find out tonight or tomorrow.
This week has been really rainy which I´ve actually really liked because it has also made the weather really cool instead of humid and hot like normal.
Elder Salguero and I have been getting along pretty well. However, he is close to finishing his mission. I´ve just been trying to motivate him and push him to keep working! He is a great missionary.
I'm sorry this letter isn´t longer but not a whole lot happened this week! I feel so grateful for the chance I have to be a representative of the Lord Jesus Christ and His church! Missionary work is HARD, but it is rewarding at the same time.
I love and miss you all! You are always in my thoughts and prayers!
Love, Elder Parrish
