Hey everybody.
Love the Nicaraguan people

This week has been pretty great. Alejandro, Natividad, and their kids are really excited for their baptism this Saturday. They have been facing some serious challenges. They have an enormous potential in the gospel and the adversary is very much aware of that! But they've been continually reading the Book of Mormon and praying. They came to church on Sunday as well. The Lord is blessing them with the strength they need to keep enduring. They're an incredible family. The two kids are already going to seminary EVERY DAY. As a family they go to "Fellowshipping Night" at the church every Thursday at 7:00 pm, which is basically like a family home evening but with lots of ward members. They've become really involved in all the ward activities and the ward leaders have really done their part in fellowshipping them.

This Wednesday will be transfers meeting. My companion has already been in this area for over 7 months now, so it's basically set in stone that he's going to leave. So, next week, I'll let you guys know who my new companion is!

This week has been incredibly humid. The sun is always bright, but now that it's the rainy season, it's more humid than normal, and it makes it hard to breath sometimes and I sweat like crazy! But the Lord is blessing us :) I feel happiness and joy in sharing the gospel!

The picture attached is of the family that is getting baptized on Saturday! They wanted us to take a picture with them so that we could send it to our families and you guys could get to know them :)
The other picture is of an average little grocery store. In Nicaragua, they're called "Pulperias." There are Pulperias about every block or two, because people just turn their houses into little stores. They have your basic foods and household products. There are a few big stores that are similar to Smiths or Kents, but the majority of the people buy their food in little stores close to their houses or in the big outdoor markets.

The other picture is of an XR 250! I was so happy to see it because I hadn't seen one in a while.  I hurried and whipped out my camera and took a picture of it. Who would have thought at that time that 4 strokes would dominate the entire supercross/motocross industry?? It's amazing how technology has advanced.

Love you guys!
