Hey guys!

This week went by pretty fast as we were preparing for 3 baptisms! Unfortunately 2 of them weren't able to get baptized this week, but they will for sure get baptized next weekend. The sad part is that I won't be here to see them! :( Yesterday we had the baptism of Leticia who is a 17 year old girl. She is the niece of a member family that she is living with. She started coming to church about 3 weeks ago and has just been 100% positive about her baptism since the very first time she came to church. We basically just had to show up and teach her, because the members she lives with had pretty much prepared her already! Thank goodness for ward members that help out the missionaries :)

 

 Our zone decided to do a combined baptismal service yesterday since there were so many people with baptismal dates for this weekend. Originally there were about 15 people that were going to get baptized but unfortunately only 6 ended up getting baptized. It was a great baptismal service though because over 100 people came to see the baptisms and for lots of them it was there first time entering the church. The zone leaders asked us office members to do a musical number, and we sung "Nearer my God to Thee." I played the guitar, Elder Puente played his harmonica and the rest of the missionaries sang. Luckily everyone can sing pretty well here in the office, so it turned out AWESOME. I wish we could have recorded it somehow but that's alright :)
 

I am trying to enjoy my last days in the office seeing as how I will be getting transferred on Wednesday! I am definitely ready to get back out in the field though to work like a normal missionary again. I can't wait!
