This week was a great one. On Tuesday, we had a multi-zone conference with two other zones in the mission. The first half of the day was really spiritual. We listened to talks by Sister Russell and President Russell. I was asked to share my testimony along with a few other missionaries. Then, we had a few workshops given by missionaries. The theme of the Multi-zone conference was "Come, Follow Thou Me". All of the topics were about growing closer to Christ personally as missionaries in order to help others come unto Christ. After lunch, each zone had to give a presentation of the missionaries in their zone. Elder Mann and I did a funny video to present each missionary. Unfortunately, Elder Mann doesn't have his USB with him today, so I'll have to send the video to you next week. Everyone laughed like crazy, and we were told that we had the best video of all the zones!
This week, there have been lots of miracles that have occured. Two of our investigators that had baptismal dates for October called us this week to tell us that they had received answers to their prayers and wanted to get baptized as soon as possible! We finished teaching them the rest of the lessons required for baptism yesterday, and so this week they will get interviewed for their baptism this Saturday.
I'm loving the Lord's work! It's incredible how the Lord can use me as an instrument in His hands to help many people.
It turns out the MTC has been making some serious changes, and they have to send the new group of missionaries to our mission on December 9th. My group was scheduled to go home December 19th, but they just informed us that we are going home on December 12th! It's crazy to think that we're going home about a whole month early...but they had the choice to either send us home a whole month early or not send us home until February. So they decided to send us in December.
Love you all! Have a great week!
