This week, Javier got baptized and confirmed. It was a really great weekend for the zone with 9 baptisms. I explained quite a bit about Javier in my letter last week. He is really excited to be a member of the restored Church of Jesus Christ and has a profound love for the Book of Mormon! He LOVES teaching. We had a ward activity on Thursday night, and my companion was asked to give a spiritual thought. After my companion was done, Javier raised his hand and asked for a few minutes to speak. He stood up and started sharing his testimony about Christ and all the miracles Christ had done for him in his life. It was awesome! There's no doubt in my mind that he has been prepared by the Lord and has a bright future ahead of him in the Church.
