This week has been a rollercoaster! It was filled with lots of great moments and a few low moments. But the great thing is that if we let Him, Christ can lift us right back up and help us keep moving forward.

We spent this week working with lots of new investigators and also getting things ready for the baptism of a couple we have been teaching. Unfortunately, it didn't go through. We visited them every day this week, and they passed their baptismal interviews and everything. All week long, they didn't have any problems and were really excited. However, on Saturday morning, the day of the marriage and baptism, we stopped by their house to make sure everything was good to go and see how they were feeling. The woman opened the door, really sad, and told us that they couldn't be baptized, because the man had gone out drinking the night before.  She felt confused and was obviously pretty hurt about what had happened. She told us that she still wanted to be baptized but needed some time.  We are going to keep working with them, because they really do have strong testimonies of the gospel and especially of the Book of Mormon. We haven't lost hope! We know our Heavenly Father has prepared them to accept the gospel.

We have another family that is preparing to be baptized this upcoming Saturday named José and Maritza. They have 2 children together. They have been really excited to be baptized for a while now, and have come to church 3 times, but weren't sure if they wanted to be married. They started praying together about baptism and marriage, and have decided that they want to be married and baptized this upcoming Saturday! It is amazing the way that the Lord has answered their humble prayers and softened their hearts.

This upcoming week will be busy because we have a zone leaders meeting tomorrow, interviews with President Monestel on Thursday, and Zone meeting on Friday. It is incredible the way the Lord continues to strengthen and lift me. Even when I think I'm not strong enough or can't keep going. He doesn't see me as the missionary I am...He sees me as the missionary I can become! I know this is His work and that He is at the head of it.

I love and miss you guys! Have a great week.
