-Conference talk themes are not assigned. They are prepared through lots of study, fasting and prayer. What the conference speakers say is the word and will of God.
-We make a mistake if we think that conference is above the spiritual level or intellect of a child. the Holy Ghost carries the word of the Lord to our hearts in a ways that we can understand it.

-What makes our church different? It was restored by Jesus Christ himself. No other church can say that.
-The Lord requires more of us than just listening to pretty sermons in conference and dreaming of mansions above.
-Assignments are not burdens, but opportunities to fulfill our covenants.
-Though Christ is perfect and his doctrine is pure, His church is led by His imperfect children. He uses weak and simple means to bring about much good.

-True repentance requires a change in thought and desire.
